Executive Director

Stephen Abreu is our founding executive director. In his day to day, he serves as a partner at Sidley Austin LLP’s San Francisco Office. He focuses on structuring and negotiating complex intellectual property and commercial transactions for life sciences companies, including strategic collaborations, cross-border transactions, and co-development, license and manufacturing agreements. 

EC, Director of Operations

Anthony has more than 20 years of technical & leadership experience in the US Military and most recently held positions as a CFO and a COO of a $55-million-dollar eCommerce conglomerate. Donahue has a medical science degree from Harvard Medical School and a diploma in diplomatic studies from the University of Oxford.

EC, Director of Content & Volunteer Programming

As a first-generation Filipino American with over a decade of commercial experience, she is passionate about advancing her community in the life sciences. Megan has championed similar efforts through organizations such as Women in Bio, the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, and DeciBio's Women in Consulting group. Megan is the Vice President of Commercial at DeciBio, a precision medicine strategy consulting, market intelligence, and venture firm. She is committed to driving innovation in life sciences, with a focus on precision medicine.

EC, Director of Community Engagement

Willie is Head of Public Engagement at Cellino. He was previously the Chief Business Strategy Innovation Officer at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), where he spearheaded product development for the BIO One-on-One Partnering™ platform and led the BIO Business Solutions cost savings program, with $620MM in annual sales.

Kenza works closely with our Executive Council, with a focus on operations, social content, and community events.

A recent graduate of UCLA and a current researcher at Stanford, Kenza brings a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to advancing our mission. She is a proud Moroccan American and passionate about representation, storytelling, and impact.

Volunteer Team, Social Content Lead

Saiyuri is an undergraduate at the University of Washington, studying Biochemistry and Data Science. She brings a dynamic, interdisciplinary perspective and a strong commitment to innovation, representation, and meaningful change in science and business.Description goes here
